As I have worked in a kindergarten and preschool setting I have learned that becoming flexible with the students needs is most important to set them up for success. ultimately my core belief is that teaching, learning, and technology are interlinked with each other. Effective teaching creates a environment where students can actively engage with new knowledge. My role as an educator is to cultivate an environment and provide students with the necessary tools to learn new knowledge. However, learning doesn’t only take place in the classroom, I attempt to create opportunities that provide the students with enriched learning experiences, encouraging students to critically think and explore opportunities beyond the classroom walls. I also feel that technology serves as a powerful tool to enhance this process and enables us to utilize manipulative and model information in innovative ways.
